1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy Restoration Dietitian, PLLC (“the Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors and clients. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
2. Information We Collect We collect personal information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, and billing details. For clients enrolled in clinical programs, we collect sensitive health data, including symptom history and lab results (such as HTMA).
Secure Storage: All clinical data and Protected Health Information (PHI) are stored via Practice Better, which is a HIPAA-compliant platform.
Non-Identifying Data: We use cookies, Google Analytics, and social media pixels to track website traffic and user behavior.
3. Legal Compliance (CalOPPA, COPPA, & CAN-SPAM)
CalOPPA: We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act.
COPPA: We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
URL & Email: We agree to use clear subject lines in emails and include our physical business address in Columbia, Tennessee, in all correspondence.
4. Data Sharing We do not sell or lease your data. We only share information with third parties necessary to provide our services, such as Practice Better, lab companies for functional testing, and payment processors.
II. TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Professional Services & Licensure Kim Pierson, MS, RDN, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian.
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT): Clinical services are provided via telehealth to residents of Tennessee and other states through the Dietetic Licensure Compact (where privileges are active). MNT is also provided in states that do not currently require specific state licensure for dietetic practice, including Arizona, Colorado, California, Michigan, and Virginia.
Wellness Coaching: For individuals residing in all other jurisdictions, services are strictly educational "Wellness Coaching." These services are motivational in nature and do not constitute the practice of dietetics or a clinical practitioner-patient relationship.
2. Not Medical Advice The content provided by Restoration Dietitian, PLLC is for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new diet, supplement, or lifestyle change.
3. No Practitioner-Patient Relationship Browsing this website, downloading our "Mineral & Hormone Symptom Checklist," or signing up for our email list does not create a practitioner-patient relationship. This relationship is only established once you have signed a formal Informed Consent and completed an initial clinical consultation.
4. Functional Testing Disclosure If your program includes Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) or other functional labs, you understand that these are used for nutritional screening and education. They are not diagnostic tests and are not intended to replace standard medical evaluations.
5. Intellectual Property All content created by the Company, including program guides and the Symptom Checklist, is the property of Restoration Dietitian, PLLC. You may not share, copy, or redistribute these materials without written permission.
6. Payment and Refund Policy All payments are processed securely. Due to the nature of digital products, personalized lab orders, and consulting time, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a program has started or labs have been ordered.
7. Limitation of Liability You agree that Restoration Dietitian, PLLC is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of our services. You take full responsibility for your health decisions and the implementation of any information provided.
8. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any legal disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction of Maury County, TN.
